Fatigue and Vitamins

Fatigue and vitamin deficiencies

Fatigue is a very common symptom with many potential causes. Often times there is a medical cause: anemia, depression, thyroid dysfunction. Other times it is environmental: poor sleep hygiene, situational anxiety, long work hours, lack of exercise.

But sometimes it is nutritional.

Poor diet or medications can lead to vitamin deficiencies that cause fatigue. Some common ones: vitamin D deficiency, zinc, b vitamins. If you have evaluated other causes consider checking for vitamin deficiencies.
