Calories in/Calories out has been our weight loss mantra for decades but a new study published this week showed that it’s not all about the numbers.

In total, people who followed a “healthy lifestyle,” without worrying about cutting calories or reducing portion sizes ended up losing an average of 11-13 pounds.

Some study participants lost as much as 50-60 pounds in 1 year!
