Summary of Mediterranean Diet Benefits

The Mediterranean diet has been shown to have numerous health benefits. Reduced heart attack, stroke and death both in people with a history of heart disease and those that are without. In fact the risk was reduced by nearly 40% in a large scale study!! Reduced depression and cognitive decline including Alzheimer’s and reduced Parkinson’s Disease. Reduced diabetes and cholesterol . . . the list of benefits is endless.

If you wish to start eating Mediterranean make a list of small changes you can make. Don’t shoot for perfection. Every little bit will make a difference and soon you will get there!
